I attended Jersey City State College majoring in early education. In 1983, I attended Saint Petersburg College earning a degree in Human Services. This area of study brought me to the field of Poly-addictive Counseling working with adolescent children at Operation Par in Clearwater, Florida. In 1988, I joined the Psychiatric team at Medfield Hospital counseling both adolescents and adults.

Interested in alternative approaches to helping others, in November of 1991 I was certified in Clinical Hypnotherapy at the Wellness Institute Inc. with Diane Zimberoff. I continued my studies in Hypnosis with the Hypnodine Foundation in South Florida. I am a NGH certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, and certified in Pediatric Hypnosis.

In early 1992, I opened a private hypnotherapy practice in Palm Harbor, Florida. In 1993, I was certified in Reike and Amanahouna (respectively Japanese and Hawaiian) energy medicine.

I find pleasure as a writer and poet and especially enjoy being with family.
